Regarding black letter fonts, especially gothic textura, shows a visual conformity between fractured strokes and isometric display. Thereby the idea of a multidimensional Fraktur typeface likewise an optical illusion, a scenography impossibility in the M. C. Escher’s manner was born.
In small test sizes and in longer text passages as well, the multidimensional characteristic almost disappears – a clean, geometric typeface emerges. Beside the multidimensionality the »Textrusion« combines the impression of modern, extreme geometric Textura like »Tannenberg« with the ornamental verves of »Wilhelm Klingspor Gotisch«.
