Die schlichte Linear-Antiqua mit humanistischen Proportionen eröffnet gute Kombinationsmöglichkeiten zwischen dem normalen Zeichen und den beiden alternativen Alphabeten – eine Interpretation des Art Déco gemixt mit den gradlinigen Formen historischer Runenschriften.
Ein Schnitt der »TJ Evolette A« steht für nicht-kommerzielle Benutzung und Test-Zwecke zum freien Download. Zudem ist die komplette Schriftfamilie in studentischen Projekten kostenlos nutzbar.
Der im Frühjahr 2011 von Timo Titzmann und Jakob Runge gestaltete Font umfasst sieben Schnitte mit je über 400 Zeichen und ist seit kurzem unter folgenden Adressen für je 30,00 $ erhältlich:
MyFonts kaufen gibt es noch ein gedrucktes Specimen dazu. Das Schrift-Muster, gedruckt im einfarbigen Offset, besteht aus einem 59,4 × 84,1 cm großen Poster, das sich zu einem DIN A 4 großen Booklet zusammen falten lässt. I noticed the fantastically refined qualities of TJ Evolette A immediately when I received the regular mailings from MyFonts. I especially was impressed with the sophisticated, applications in your specimen design. I’m wondering if you have any specimen posters left–some of the best design I have seen for a long time–makes me very inspired to want to use your new type.
Also, I saw places on the Internet offering a free trial type sample–but couldn’t actually find one. If a type sample is available, would it be possible to try TJ Evolette A in the Bold weight?
